Dallas Museum of Art Exhibit
features work from RHS Students

The Dallas Museum of Art, The O’Donnell Foundation and AP Strategies are proud to announce that five Richardson HS fine arts students were selected to participate in the 2018 Young Masters Exhibition.

The Young Masters Exhibition, currently on display at the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) in the Concourse Gallery, features selected original works created by Richardson HS Advanced Placement® Studio Art, Art History, and Music Theory students.

Chosen by a panel of respected professionals from the arts and music fields, the exhibition displays original pieces by RHS students - Evan Balster, Amaris Carter, Jean-Luc Fagnan, Anna Fitzgerald and Mark Tomisaac.

The O’Donnell Foundation’s Advanced Placement Fine Arts Program was founded 24 years ago to motivate high school students’ interest and success in rigorous college-level fine arts courses, AP Art History, AP Studio Art, and AP Music Theory. In their mission to support schools as national models of excellence in fine arts education, the Foundation provides superior AP and Pre-AP training for program teachers.

A private reception and ceremony was held at the Dallas Museum of Art for participating students, their families, and teachers. Congratulations to each artist that submitted work and to each art teacher for their outstanding job in AP® Studio Art.

Admission to the Young Masters exhibition in the DMA’s Concourse is included with free general admission. For more information, visit www.apstrategiesarts.org.
